I don't understand how you put the 12 inch block to the 14 inch block. Do you put backing on the block to quilt?

You center the twelve inch block onto the 14, I double checked mine to be sure I had a inch all the way around. Then pin together and quilt, machine stitching or however you prefer and it attaches the two together, :)

The 14 inch block is the backing

Ok here is the block. I had some hummingbird fabric, so I tried to make it kinda '3D' with folding fabric.

On the back I used one of the labels I got from my last secret Pal as a Siggie. ;)

Finally, It is chilly, rainy and time for some Chili. It's October!!!
