I broke my back last month and this is the first that I have sewn since then. It has been great therapy, even though it was a little harder physically than I was thinking. My labor of love to my new friend. Enjoy :)

Bibliostone..I have never seen that star before. Is it paper pieced? Stunning!

It is not paper pieced the way I do it, but I just used graph paper to draw it. For a long time I could not figure out how to do it, then one day it was just hit me and is much simpler than it looks.

Hey, hey, hey there Jacquie! I rec'd your block May 5! I mailed yours on 4-18. Looks like it takes 3 wks for both of us. Was beginning to worry about it. Come to think about it, when I went to PO I thought I had to fill out an International Form, told the clerk (if some reason) it was going to Canada (opps). I had to fill out that form when I sent boxes over at Christmas to China when my DD & family lived for 4 yrs. Postage was outrageous! Praise God they are back in the great state of Texas!! They are 45 min away... My avatar of me & my 7 DGKs. Anyway so glad you rec'd. I'm so glad u posted pics.
Oh, BTW, my DD & SIL are going to Scotland in July (I'm babysitting, tho they are far from babies).... I'm seeing her this weekend & will show her block & postcard...
