Have decided to join, sent PM too!

urgodschild2 06-06-2014 07:05 PM

Ok I am totally challenged sometimes when it comes to technology. My mail box was full and so I went in and it said delete all of them. I hit the button and then realized it meant all of them. So my mailbox is empty. I did get the following people who have joined so far. If I missed you please send another pm message.

Groovy Pieces
The MamaHauser
BeeBeatty
Nelco
Giquilt
I am so looking forward to what everyone picks out for their patterns.

Barb

I just sent you a pm to be part of the group. I really look forward to this swap.

Yeah we are growing each day. We now have 8 members. Don't worry if I get more then 12 people. Depending on how many and what the group decides we could go to 16 or start another group. So let's get out there and join up. It is a lot of fun.

Bonnie...I chk out where you town is in CA, seeing I have never heard of it. Must be small town but hey you are in the mountains. Last time I was up there in that area we saw a wolf. I was excited.

My town has a population of 51. I am an hour from the big town of Redding, CA. I lived in Susanville (since 1982), population of 17,000 but 9,000 are state prison inmates. I got hurt while working at the prison (I'm an LV) and am preparing for the 5th surgery on my injured/replaced knee (in 4.5 years). I live right on Hat Creek and can fish from my back door. This is our retirement home, DH will be retiring from the prison in a few years. But I was raised in Santa Barbara, graduated from San Marcos High, and still have family there. I visit there often as my Dad isn't well.

I've pretty much decided on a quilt pattern but am having trouble finding decent instructions. What to do! What to do! Any ideas??? It's the Great Granny Square made up in 30's prints.
