Katie and Rhonda your blocks are done. I am sending them out Wednesday, July 27. Sorry it took me so long to get them done. The dugout blocks were a real change for me.

Mary

Great Mary, I'll keep my eyes open for them.

HOW ABOUT A PICTURE OF WHAT YOU WANT?

Any of the blocks that Rhonda's done. They are one the pages she has above The weekly Sampler has all the blocks she did in her weekly sampler. Then if you haven't done any of her blocks, the other web pages give you instructions. It's very east. And lots of fun. And it's just one 12 1/2" block.

You will get a partner and you and your partner can discuss what each one would like. If you see a quilt block you like you can let your partner know you would like her to make that one or you can let her decide which quilt block she wants to make for you. You can discuss what colors you and she like etc.

As Katie said look at the links I posted and you will see all sorts of differant quilt blocks using my cut down method.
I posted the links to the directions for using the cut down method to make my "Blocks" as in Boston Blocks or Star Point Blocks or Kansas Dugout Blocks done my way etc.

The reason for the swap besides just having fun was to encourage people to try out my cut down methods. They are easy to do but differant than what most people are used to.

So if you are interested in trying out my methods and haveing fun just let me know!

And I will have to admit...when I am working on something, I do 99.9% of all my blocks Rhonda's way. Even if they aren't her block patterns. I found it so easy to understand and just love doing them.

No, thank you for developing this way of doing things. Otherwise I'd still be using all those paper templates that you trace onto your own thin plastic and then marking the 1/4" seam.....blah blah blah, this is so much easier.

when I started 30 years ago I used cardboard and traced each and every square or triangle onto the fabric. I never had any tools other than a pen and a pair of scissors. I know my quilting wasn't the best!
