You are more than welcome! I'm glad you liked it. I was one of the people who mailed late, so it's good to know it got to you fairly quickly. Interestingly, I mailed this to you in Australia, at the same time that I mailed a package to the USA, and they both got to their destinations on the same day, although you are 4 times farther away from me that the person in the USA.

I did hear from Aurora that she had mailed mine & by the tracking number she could determine it had been delivered. I'm out of town right now (Suttons Bay,MI) & will be back Tuesday night. I let the house sitter know to watch for packages so I assume she got it in. I'll post a picture ASAP

How many of us are left that has not heard from the exchange partner or received a quilt or notification that it might be on its' way? Just curious.
Right now I am making my Glutton for punishment quilt for the 4th WH exchange:D. I have, after four days of pulling fabric and pattern searches, decided on my first choice. Will see how it looks and go from there. peace to all |

I feel so bad for our hostess, she takes every precaution to make sure we are all satisfied but then I think people forget that they have signed up and maybe summer gets in the way. Life happens. But I think in my own mind a person should not even sign up to do this swap unless they have a wall hanging already to go! Since I don't know if it is the same people who are not able to deliver on time all the time I can't say, but I think that maybe we have been invaded by some slugs... from outter space who want to beautify their planet with our beautiful hand crafts. :p... Just got home from 2 week vacation & my lovely wall quilt from Aurora was waiting for me. Well worth the waiting.
It's the cutest darn thing! Will post pictures tomorrow. |
