It is Interlocked squares. This one was my 1st attempt. I redid it better the second time and sent it off to a swap partner. I kept this one cause I just love how it looks....it is a twelve inch block....

I was so excited to get on tonight to post my addition to Melinda's top - thinking I was done early. To my chagrin I realized that I am actually late.:( My apologies to all - it is going to Alikat in tomorrow's mail.

I hope you like what I came up with Melinda. It really is straight - I had to splice two different pictures together to show the whole top at once. The second pic is a close up of the detail of the pieced blocks. What is not showing up well is that I used gray in the tiny star blocks.
