Thank you April. I'm glad you like it.
It was not easy deciding what to do. You sent me a beautiful, perfect row of angels which set the standards very high.
Fortunately your daughter has a very beautiful name with enough letters to fill up the row very nicely. So that made my life easier.
I'm happy I'm done with this row.
Now I just started to worry about the stars for Kathy's row. Never made stars before. Will start practicing ASAP. Lol.

HI Ladies, hope you have all had a great week...what a hot, muggy day it was here..now some storms to cool it off! This has been such a busy week,but I found a home for the puppy so now I can concentrate on klarinas row! I have been doing some drawings just hope that I can do it just.

hello Karen, believe it or not, in so cal we have had cool days at noon and It is chilly at night and mornings. It has been weird.
My week, so far has been good. I hope you too and the rest of the ladies have great week. Thanks for working on my row. I'm very excited with the tiny quilts. I can hardly wait to see what you come up with.

I am a bit confused as to who has whos row now. It seems that if klarina has 2 rows, then someone doesn't have one to play with.Could you all please let me know . I'm trying to keep this straight..that seems to be gettin harder to do.
June 15th is the mail date! Our group should be back on track with the rest of the groups now.

Thanks for letting me Christina, I am the same way...have a little more to do before it will be ready to send out. I am not supposed to be doing much of anything for another week, Drs orders. I just can't sit here and do nothing. Trying to get a quilt finished to send off for pictures. Then I will get back on my row and medallions.

I am sorry ladies I fell a little behind on Karen's row with my health and then hubby's surgery and now I have been numb from the waist down do to my illness. I hope to have Karen's rows in the mail by Friday!

Thanks so much! You know I am goof for it...I just did not expect to have this problem :-( The headaches, vision issues and so on I expected. This numbness I did not!!

I'm here!!! Way behind on swaps due to emergency surgery that I had at the beginning of the month. I'm trying hard to get caught up. I have Christina's row right now and need to ask her a question. There was a baggie with labeled background fabric, but there isn't enough to complete the background on each block for me and then there would be none for future rows. Do you have more or would you like me to just substitute a similar ivory/muslin type of fabric for the background?

My husbands Peterbilt burnt in St Louis, MO tonight. About an 1 hour ago. He is alright as far as I know, just going to be a while home....thankful he is ok.

Wow lots of stuff going on! I went to Nuerologist yesterday had some more tests and will be going back on July 1st for more. This DR is great! He is going to get to the bottom of the problem. He is doing continued testing to determine MS or something else.

I am behind too as you know and I haven't gotten anything from Klarina so i think we are all in the same boat. It's great to know you all have patience. :)

Kathy N I will get fabric in the mail on Thursday. I am running over the the quilt shop tomorrow.

April...Izzy has really gotten so big! Her new picture is adorable!

This is the deal going on for us right now: Ron is back on the road as of tonight! Our truck is more than likely going to be totaled out by the insurance company, but he has a loaner for now. Although it will be a couple of weeks before we get a paycheck...stinks, but all will be ok.
On the good side of things, I have another quilt going to be published!! Picks was done this weekend and I am very excited, looking forward to `Purple Haze' coming home so I can post pics for you all!

The flooding is right around the corner, but I live high on a hill so I am safe! I have Christina's row done and it is ready to mail to April, however in going back through our comments I realize Christina that you didn't want your rows attached, and everyone has attached them up to this point. I did too....I didn't know you wanted them separate and there was sashing included so I just followed suit! I'm so sorry. Your quilt is coming out quite beautiful with all of the different batiks. If you want the rest of your rows separated, please let April know. She will get it next. I'll post a photo in a little bit as I download the pictures from my camera.

Kathy did you ever get my fabric? I mailed extra to you last week after i had gone to two quilt shops and couldn't find it my friend dug it out of her stash.... :)

No biggie on sewing the rows together actually at the beginning i didn't send sashing but then the mediator told me they HAD to be sewn together so I went ahead and mailed it. I sure hope my package made it to you.

I'm still working Izzy's row. I had high hopes of getting it done this weekend but didn't. Sorry....

Sorry to be so quiet.
A few weeks ago I started to go to the gym with my daughter, at dawn, and I have had to change a lot of things to fit this into my schedule. My husband gave me a workout routine because I need to lose weight.
This is the reason I'm late.
I'm almost done with the five blocks.
This Friday I will post pictures and mail Kathy's row.

This is the first time I make star blocks. I went to a local quilt shop to take classes. I'm very happy with the results.
