Yes indeed this is just "Too much FUN" ..... I'm loving every minute of it. I'm so glad I made the decision to do this ROW ROBIN project. Do a "Search" --- type in "Early Bird Threads - Row Robin" ..... posted finished row for Pattis47, and getting ready to mail it to Scotland.

Seeing that everyone else appears to be the "early bird", I am the elephant in the middle of the room. Have everything picked out, patterns, etc., fabric washed and starched (it all blends so well) and have now been in bed with some awful virus for 3 days. :-( And I was getting so excited about that first (middle block). I'll be the one running to the P.O at 11:59 p.m. (We have an all night post office here, although I'm not sure why since the population is about 10,000).

Question: Are we supposed to insure this and if so, for how much?

Hope u r feeling better...I am not going to insure mine..I will send priority with confirmation or where person has to sign to get the box...I don't think we ever talked about insuring it...however, input from the rest of the gals will help...Q Bee, Pamesue, Nancy, what do you think?

pamesue 01-22-2011 06:27 PM

I will do priority with confirmation as well....

I still have my extra block to make as well as my label...hopefully I will get it all done this weekend..

Just got back last nite from a cruise to Mexico (where it was in the 80's) and am struggling with reality (sat at the kitchen table for over an hour and no one showed up with my coffee or the breakfast menu. And no one made up my bed yet. Sometimes reality sucks. Anyway, now I need to get really serious about my row. As far as insuring goes, I don't know what to say. We may want to when it gets near the end, but I haven't checked out cost or value ranges. I'll go along with whatever majority says. Now where is that steward with my coffee .....

Yeah ...... there ought to be a law in this day and time .... "What they hand out at sea, onboard ship .... it is manditory for the same on land"!

The cruise made a quick stop in Progresso and then on to Cozumel. Progresso is a real dump. We went only to the small shops by the docking pier. I don't think it's real safe to go into the city, which was a cab ride away. The next day we went to Cozumel which had a lot more shops in a grouping by the pier. We walked across the street into the outskirts of the city, but again, not a really nice and clean place to be. I did enough damage to my wallet in a few hours to satisfy me. Ship only stayed there for only about 7 hours.

It was great to get away from everything - no phones, tv,barking dogs to let out/in, etc. It's also great to be waited on so much. I went with a bunch of girl friends. DH would never enjoy something like that -- he's too active, and I was perfectly content to sit in sun and read.
