TF Quilter -- Your row is beautiful!!!! Are you sure you are in the right group -- like maybe you belong with the advanced group???? Wow -- I don't know how I can add to that. Where did you get your pattern? Are you looking for applique for the rest of the rows? I assume you want to maintain a Victorian "feel" to the rest of the quilt. I can't imagine mixing anything that beautiful with mod images are cartoon types. Would vintage Sunbonnet Sue qualify? Pamesue -- you have a tough act to follow. Can't wait to see what you do.

Thankyou...Yes, I am sure I am in the right group & I do not consider myself "advanced"...the pattern came from a book called Bonnet Girls - Patterns from the Past by Helen R. Scott...I used a machine buttonhole stitch on the larger areas of skirts etc and embroidered the rest by hand.. vintage Sunbonnet Sue would work..there's also a book called Ladies of Leisure..Vintage Quilts..Linens and More by Suzanne McNeill..also, I could copy some of these various patterns & include these with my row if this would help..or you could do 3 pieced blks in 30's fabrics and 2 ladies/girls of some sort... cartoon types would not go..I do not want to make this difficult for anybody...I think a challenge is good, so let me know your thoughts okay...also on the back of this one book there are vintage patterns of women/girls..it is thru Design Originals..www.d-originals.com..#5202 Vintage Home; #5152 Vintage linens...just passing on info..

Definitely send with receipt confirmation. I think we agreed to include a 12 1/2" extra block, using scraps from the blocks we used for our added row. Our name and date etc. should be somewhere on that one. Or maybe just our name and date. The 5th block we need to make a complete row across the back can be the "signature" block we all add our names to. I plan on sending that one along with my row. Think of it as a big quilt label. It doesn't necessarily need to be 12 1/2" square, but I want to fit it in between the 4 extra blocks. Clear as mud? I'll try to make an example of what I mean and post it later on. Let me know if y'all t hink this is too much work and I'm overdoing it. I just thought it would be fun to have unique backs.

We do fireworks not far from Humble twice a year. What is your almost SIL's name? I'll have to ask Brandon if he knows him, although in a company that big, kinda doubt it. My son is Brandon Bingham, he's been there 4 years and is in oil and gas audit. Another major rivalry here between A&M and LSU. Both of my Mom's neighbors in Montgomery, Tx (on the golf course) are LSU alumni and are always pulling pranks on her since she and my Daddy were diehard University of Michigan alumni. Even went to Rose Bowl in 2007.

SIL's name is Jason Welch, and I think he's also in auditing. I'll have to ask him. He's only been there about 18 months or so. Geaux Tigers!

Me: (slight change due to thinking too hard) bright solid stars on a black background. Full block size or combinations of smaller blocks for a scrappier look.

FQ Stash Queen: brown/turq blue, kitchen theme (fabrics or motifs as theme)

Qbee: Spring
