I have a guess---is the g silent?

ssnare 12-05-2012 05:11 AM

Wonnie, you are half right.
Mimim is correct. At first I thought it started with a "k". LOL. Silly me. So that is how I labeled all the parts, K-1, K-2 etc. I just hope I can sew all the tiny parts. I may have to straight stitch them rather than use a blanket stitch. A couple of them I will have to use a pigma pen.

It took me several hours to draw the blocks. It took 4 hours to make templates. It took several hours to transfer to fusible and to fuse to fabrics. Today, I will cut the fabric designs.

mimim, don't tell her what your guess is. And wonnie, yes I am up for the challenge, I was just writing my progress. I got lot's of it cut out today and it is really looking cute. I may have to make a duplicate set for myself. LOL.

My lips are sealed---but I'm dying to see this!

Okay, since the "g" is silent I thought of a "GnomeHome" but ......that can't be right because you said it had 8 letters and that has 9 and it doesn't begin and end with an "M"...Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...guess it's back to the drawing board! :(

I said, "Yvonne, something else on your row starts with a "g". The house starts and ends with the letter "m". I have the "m" ironed on to background. I have the "g's" ironed and pinned to the background. Next, I will work on the trees. When I get everything ironed onto the background, I will sew it. I had cut a fabric that I thought looked like berries for a tree, but it was too big for what I wanted to do, so, I cut it smaller and when I did, it looked like something else, so I used it that way, and it came out cute. Do you give up yet, Yvonne? Are you dying to know what I am doing?
