Working on my 2 needlecases and 2 pin cushions. Hand embrodiary on one needlecase. I am loving this.

So I had this chicken pincushion I have made, but my partner does not like a certain color that the chicken is. So I am back to square one. I have two of them 3/4 way done, one in the color my partner does not like - seems that is the main color in my stash right now of scraps - but the other should be just right. Making two so I have one for myself they are so cute. I am doing a little mouse. Will post photo when I am done with him. I have to pick up some walnut shells, used all of them up when I made a batch of chickens for my quilting students and the one for this swap. Will save it for a sweet surprise for the future.

So loving the owls and the flower pincushion. Such creativity.

I have been doing some stitching, but no clues yet.

I finally finished the needlecase for my partner. It was my first one ever, so hope she likes it. I will post a picture after she receives so I don't spoil the surprise for her. Need to find a couple other goodies to put in it too so will try and get it mailed out on Mon/Tues of next week. Now on to the pin cushion. The only hint I will give is that it has a theme of something she likes. If I say any more she will know it is for her. :-)

[ATTACH=CONFIG]406415[/ATTACH]Here is a sample of the spoon pin cushion which is the one I decided on. This is one that Blue Cat (sister Laura) made for me years ago, and I just love. She made it out of one of Mom's Tablespoons, and fabric Mom would have adored, so it is very special to me (snerf).
