I hate to say this, but I don't know what a round robin is. Will have to look it up.

The easiest way to explain look up previous round robin's in the FORUM swaps and round robin's

I have done both Row Robins and Round Robins. The Round Robin that I participated in started with a central block of a certain size. If I remember correctly there were 5 or 6 participants in each group, so each person mailed their center to the next person on the list. So then each person would add a row onto the block as it made the rounds and when it was mailed back to the first person, they had a completed top. There were rules for each round so that everyone got the same size top back when the rounds completed. These were not large tops when finished, I think it was the size of a wall hanging when completed.
The Row Robin was a bit different but also a lot of fun! Each person would make 5 blocks of a theme, stitch them together, then mail to the next person who would then add 5 blocks and on down the list. Blocks were to be 12.5". Once again, when the top came back to the originator, they had a complete top! I enjoyed both types, but I think I liked the Row Robin best. Lots of fun and talent!
I'm sure there are other Round Robin themes out there, but these were the two I participated in.

I have signed up again this year, my fourth. Time flies when you are having fun.

Back this year after missing last year. Have lots of goodies tucked away to send -- and it's always such fun to shop for what my Santee wants! Hope the group is chatty this year; that's always lots of fun!

MizMelly pretty much explained it perfectly.
I was in 5 round robins.
All 5 tops came back just beautifully.
All but 1 was a little bigger than full size.
The one that was different was almost king size and is my favorite.
I'm still thinking on it, will see what happens.

I have never done a row robin or a round robin, but there is a first time for everything. And I like learning new things.

So, I'm not sure I will participate again. I'm somewhat concerned with all the information that we provide about ourselves and what we like/dislike, but then quite a few people say they have already picked up things during the year. How do you know the person assigned to you actually wants the things you've picked up? Not trying to be negative, but if we are truly buying for the person assigned to us, shouldn't we be shopping specifically for that person? Don't get me wrong. I think this is a great things to do especially this year during COVID. Just my thoughts.
