What is the deadline to send out our boxes? My handmade gift might not be ready if it's soon! But could always send that as an afterthought!

1. Mail deadline is November 14th. That is a HARD deadline. No mailing AFTER this time. Since you have almost 2 months, there should be NO excuse for mailing late, unless you are incapacitated or 6 feet under.

Thanks, I figured I was too late. Have to wait until next year when I retire.

Donna, sorry you missed the sign-up. You can still visit with us, here in the Hole. :)

Just checking in .. finished another gift...tried the quilted box with french seams - it took a bit longer but i got the benefit of the 4 quilted triangles that were cut off - so was able to whip up a mug rug to go with it in a jiffy. Been stitching my little bum off - and cleaning a bit and laundry - while DH and DGD are off hunting. They should be home in about another hour. She got herself a nice buck and is very thrilled.
June...please take care and do what they say about resting !!!!
Hope everyone else is having a nice weekend.http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=496674&stc=1

Lovely! What a great job and re-purposing of the cut off corners. So nice!

Oh Penni, those are so pretty. And very clever use of the leftover triangles! Just have to add that your quilting is very nice too; so precise. Something to aim for...

WHEW! I just got done with two days of posting:

The purple bag is definitely mine to help me with the limited about of purple and pink I own.

The sneak preview red white and blue would absolutely go with me house. So you can send it one.

I have the perfect place for the box and mug rug.

and last but not least . . . I wrap my gifts in fabric.

SS, I hope you like homemade scarfs. There's one in your box.

We are fine, lots of little branches blown around, but not near as bad as I feared or the weatherman threatened. If you google "Columbus Day Storm in Vancouver, WA" under images, you will understand why storms scare the willy-wonkies out of me! I was about four, and the storm blew our house off the foundation with us in it! Then, if you want more entertainment, Google "Tornado hits Vancouver, WA". My cousin and I were walking home from school, (which had closed due to the storm) though that storm! I was a nervous wreck the whole time I lived in "Tornado Alley" in Texas. I am a certified storm chicken!

I have bad news for my santee... I do not drive. DH has had oral surgery, can't drive on pain killers, (healing nicely, thank you) DD who is backup driver, chose this moment to catch the creeping crud, so is not driving right now. I have your package all done, ready to mail, and can't get it out to post office. Heh heh heh.....Nyah! Nyah! Nyah!:p
