I was not able to be at the opening, but oh boy was this worth the wait. A BIG thank you to craftymatt2. She not only sent me wonderful things, she even thought of my grandsons and my fur baby.

Items were patterns, jar with Hershey kisses, garden magazine, 16 month planner, S initial ornament, stocking with initial tissues, lifesavers and snowman, bones for my fur baby, a Disney plane for my grandson, candy cane spoons-yummy, cozy socks, ornament hangers, Dresden template ruler, Santa shopping list, rotary blade, nail file, keychain measuring tape, sewing kit, measuring tape, needle wax, bibs for my other grandson, seam ripper, instructions for Christmas cards and cute little buttons to make them with, lovely fabrics and extra fabrics, Christmas spatula and a nice card. Hope I got everything listed.

What a great package. I love it all.

Grammyj, I am so sorry that you have suffered such a loss. 60 years of memories is a wonderful thing. Good times and hard times, you went through them together. It will be quite an adjustment for you now that there is an empty spot beside you. Take care of yourself and lean on others (us on the QB, family, friends, God) it will take time.

Praying for you. Deb

The Hole seems rather deserted, tonight. I'm sitting here with a glass of Vouvray Chenin Blanc. Was hoping to find some cake or something, to go along with it. All I see are stale crumbs. :(

juneayerza 12-10-2014 07:27 PM

Neesie, why are you sitting in the hole; have you been naughty?

tlrnhi 12-10-2014 07:40 PM

grammyj....I'm so sorry! 60 years is a lifetime that you had with him. Remember, he's now looking down on you and is an angel above. Big hugs to you and your family!

KGoodhand 12-10-2014 07:42 PM

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you that need some extra help this season. I will send hugs in those thoughts as well. I hope you all get the love and support you need.

Not a big on vouvray, being more of a white Bourgogne fan myself - perhaps a nice Montrachet? And a bit of Christmas cake, Neesie?
