You can mail your package ANYTIME you have it ready. You DO NOT have to mail it on the mailing date. If I PM you with your person and your package is ready to go and the Post Office is still open, you CAN mail it THAT day!! Just make sure you mark the package SECRET SANTA so the person DOES NOT open it until the designated day, which will be announced in the near future

I haven't heard of this before, but as I live in Scotland does that rule me out?

count me in! I love to send gifts and get gifts. My husband "the grinch himself" does not "do gifts" anymore its been more that 15 years since there was a gift under the tree with my name on it. It makes me sad on the holidays but I just deal with it because doing so makes life easier. I am so excited about this!

I will try to join also. Will pm you a little later. I hope I don't sound too grumpy saying this, but when you said in the rules section that some are "just more generous than others" it made me a little sad. I'm ok financially right now, but I know that others are hurting. The lack of generosity may be due to financial hardships not just lack of desire to do more! So saying that, I want to let you know that I think you do a great job of hosting and I for one want to THANK YOU!
