Hoping to make a start on my Mug rug this week all being well. I am getting over a bout of Flu / Bronchitis and have not been feeing the best for a few days.

For anyone who is interested, Judy's next Mystery Quilt Train Ride starts this Saturday, Sept. 9.

I've been offline for the past 5 days on vacation, so just PM'd my partner this AM! I hope to have a rug done by the end of this week and ready to mail.

I found some really cute pumpkin fabric today... that i may or may not use!

I've been working on my rug the last 3 days. Haha, I've made quilts in less time. I've only made 1 simple mug rug before. I found something on pintrest but it's out of my comfort zone to make stuff without a pattern. :D I made 3 and will send my best one (which is far from perfect!). Practice makes perfect. Maybe I'll join another mug rug swap in the future. :o

Just have to finish hand sewing my binding down and my mug rug will be ready to go.
