Mystery solved. Cuppy received the large mugrug I posted on mini quilt. Sorry for the confusion. Her care a is down so here is what I sent her. BTW. Cuppy I also loved my tea and puzzle you sent. I'm taking it on the bus trip for my bus members going to Houston Texas quilt show at end of Oct. and yes Jaba got her mini quilt today! Worries over. Already had material for cutting a new one. This has been a fun month ladies... with some fantastic rug rugs sent and received! I especially love the one I was sent....it's fab!

I am so looking forward to next month! Jan and Linda... maybe we can all get together for a cocktail if I make it to the States next year!

Glad you like what I sent but you mixed up the mug rugs in your pictures. I sent the hexagon one. I love my Mickey hexagon rug.

Caroline, I couldn't bring myself to using it as a mug rug, it's just too cute! I have it displayed as a wall hanging where we make our cocktails so everyone can see it when they mix their drinks. I do hope we can have that drink together when you come to the states!

It's hard enough to keep the swaps straight when you are in several, but having more than one partner within the same swap just seems unnecessarily confusing. I may be unpopular for saying it, but I don't see any reason for anyone to have more than one partner per month. (Unless maybe they are helping a latecomer who didn't get a partner). It just adds to the confusion. I, for one, do not feel 'special' when my partner has more than just me to swap with that month, especially when I send ONE and the person sending to me sends and gets TWO. I'm not in charge but I'd like to see the double swapping stop.

Sometimes there is a late last minute sign up and other times if it is an uneven number then the hostess will sit out. I always volunteer to do 2 if the hostess needs it to be included...I hate to see her have to sit out when she does the work of taking names and pairing them up. I try to make each one feel special, I always go to their profile and read it and hope they have their favorite colors, hobbies, etc. listed. It really helps me when I am making somethng that I want them to enjoy and be able to use. Just an explanation of why I sometimes have 2 partners:) and perhaps others also

Yup... I've had two partners for the same reason. Someone had a need. But that is different from asking for two swaps.

Not trying to shake things up, I just usually share my opinions without being asked! It's how we get to know each other... Like I said, I'm not in charge, so it isn't likely to change anytime soon.

Amandab and I were partners. We both received and thanked each other for the wonderful things we received. I have been unable to post pictures until now. The leaf mug rug is beautiful! Amanda and klaws what a great swap for both of you, very cute! Still warm here in Wyoming, 94 yesterday but it is turning fall. Little breeze yesterday and now the lawns are covered with yellow, orange and red leaves. Need to get the mower out before they get to deep:) or maybe I should wait a couple of days until hubby gets home. Wouldn't want him to miss all the colors.....

Here is the mug Rug and goodies I received from Linda (jazs2). She and I had several nice visits on the phone during the month. That was a real treat to converse in person. She is a sweet lady and I loved the things that she sent to me.

Woohoo!! I finally got into town to pick up the mail today and look what followed me home. My partner, Snownannie. sent me not 1 but 8 beautiful little mug rugs. They have pockets on the back, too. So cute and so well made. My package also included a battery-operated Halloween candle with a cute purple candle ring with black bats, two FQ's of Halloween fabric and a package of Disney Nightmare Before Christmas buttons. What a terrific swap package.....I love it all! Thank you so very much.

Well, I have lots of time and interest so I ask for 2 partners. This is especially nice when I have 2 ideas. None of my
partners get short changed. If the hostess does not want to give any of us two partners, I'll certainly abide by her decision.
I like to send a pair of mug rugs and a pair of napkins. Maybe something else homemade. That's my style. Now, I'll rethink my participation and generosity. I will play by the rules.
