For me, little projects can help me get my creative right brain engaged and jump start a bigger project. Completed this FPC at a retreat then went on to make a small wall hanging.
FPC's can also be a way to practice a new skill. Tried out a new decorative stitch from my relatively new machine. People at the retreat were thrilled to share their scraps with me. A new way to get acquainted. Waiting for the swap list. I'll be early this month. Judith: thanks for the correction and second chance. I love this. |
petthefabric, I am really glad you are enjoying yourself. The retreat sounds like lots of fun. Getting scraps would make me positively giddy. Enjoy your time. I hope the smoke clears soon. You could definitely use some of our rain!

I thought of things I have in my sewing room and thing I liked the best and put them on a card. I hope these are going to be ok with my partners Nan62 and Armylady2012. They will ready to be shipped out this week.
