Rhonda, Does each swapper choose a block to send to her partner or do we say which block we want? The reason I ask is because some may have lots of your blocks and be collecting different ones, rather than getting repeats. Of course, for me, I don't have the first one, so I'd enjoy any block!! Just went through some of your tutes and looks like fun. I can't make a star block without the 30 degree angle block or would any ruler with that marking work fine? nancy.

When you get your partner you can discuss with her what she would like and you can discuss colors likes and dislikes etc.

As for the 30 degree you can use any 30 degree ruler. I also have a paper template version I created that bypasses the 30 degree and it also saves abit on fabric. I still prefer the original 30 degree method but I had people saying they didn't like having so much left overs. I reuse my left overs but I guess not everyone does.
