Wonnie 09-02-2013 05:34 AM

Got it..........thanks!

verna2197 09-02-2013 05:44 AM

Lori got my names even my ooops! Really laughed when I saw that one. Now to get busy and start on them. Thank you for all you do for this swap.

Lori Peercy 09-02-2013 06:16 AM

If you did not get a name and their information I need to know right away because I have a mix up here and could use some help figuring it out.

Quilty-Louise 09-02-2013 06:41 AM

I got my name.

Thanks Lori.

quiltingdragon 09-02-2013 07:02 AM

Clues! SP #1 - 1) you have the same favorite color I do. 2) you like a notion that people are constantly asking who's got it? SP #2 - 1) There are going to be a lot of red things in your package 2) you hold a grudge against a particular fabric pattern.

Oksewnsew 09-02-2013 07:44 AM

I received my name too, Lori....Thanks. I've already got something ready to make you requested. :D

Wonnie 09-02-2013 08:10 AM

S.P. you live 979.5 miles from me....but................hmmmmmmmmmmm........what direction ??????????????????

Wonnie 09-02-2013 08:12 AM

Clue #2....we have flamingo's here, too.

I was going to skip this month too, but decided at the vey last moment to give it another go. :)
I'm currently on vacation in the Cairngorms (mountain area of the Highlands) so I'm going to look for something nice. It won't be quilt-related as I don't think quilting has reached this area yet, lol.

My pal seems easy to please, likes hand made items (although almost every time I make something for a pal, it's jinxed for photos) and I have absolutely no idea what one of the things she wants is! An Internet search reveals it's something to eat, but I'm not so sure.........

Crafty Darlene 09-02-2013 09:55 AM

Thanks Lori I received my name, and SP you don't live too far from me! Can't wait to get started on your pkg!

Quilty-Louise 09-02-2013 11:09 AM

Dear SP here is a clue or two for you.

#1) you are a "Super Member" of QB.
#2) one of your LEAST favorite colors is one my MOST favorite.

Airwick156 09-02-2013 11:20 AM

Heres a hint for my secret pal.
You live in the state my husband was born and raised in. Near water and likes to travel.

sewnsewer2 09-02-2013 11:40 AM

I got mine, thanks Lori!

Grandma Peg 09-02-2013 12:58 PM

Got my name today. My SP lives about 380 miles south of me. You do have a pet!

Belfrybat 09-02-2013 02:00 PM

I received my two names. One is a "furiner", so my package will be winging it's way across borders. You were nicely specific about what you wanted, but not so much I can't meet some of your wishes. (Your wish is my command!:p) I've already ordered something just for you, and am happily raiding my stash for others. My stash is a lot more than just fabrics.
The second person lives north of me (which takes in 90% of the country!). You and I share many favorite colours in common, like a fabric line I'd never even heard of, and enjoy historical novels.
This will be a great swapping month!

Sibi 09-02-2013 06:40 PM

Clues for my SP:

My sp lives north of me about 598 miles

She dislikes the same kind of candy that I dislike (and many other people dislike too)

Oksewnsew 09-02-2013 08:20 PM

Here's a clue for my SP...You're about 783 mi about straight East of me, but could go NE, then SE to reach you, one way wud be 13 hrs, other is 11 1/4hrs. You have the same number of pets as I.. (that covers a bunch, huh).. I already have one of your items almost completed..

mscupid804 09-03-2013 03:22 AM

OFF TOPIC to my SP Ladies: Do any of you know if they sell Quilted Christmas Stocking Panels? I want it already quilted if they come that way because I want to make my grandson his 1st Christmas stocking. I could kick myself because I should've asked for that as MY MOST WANTED ITEM! :( I didn't want to have to quilt it myself but I will if I have to.

newquilter10 09-03-2013 06:24 AM

Lori have received my SP and have started getting the package ready. SP lives next door, state wise that is.

Quilty-Louise 09-03-2013 08:41 AM

Now that we are back home I can start working on my SP package.

It was a great long weekend but I am soooo tired and the bed we
always sleep in leaves MUCH to desired for comfort. I am so ready
to take a nap in my OWN comfy bed.

More clues for my SP later after my nap.

HUGS

Monstookie 09-03-2013 08:48 AM

received my name also....little hint...we share a favorite color...we both have fur babies.....I have some of the items you requested...and working on the rest. Should be fun.

sewnsewer2 09-03-2013 11:30 AM

I will be gathering things for my SP this week too. Still trying to download stuff on my new laptop I got over the weekend.

catjo 09-03-2013 04:49 PM

I was busy the past few days. I mailed my SP's package out and it is going a long long way from me.

Are you my pal Airwick? Sounds like you could be.

Grandma Peg 09-03-2013 06:59 PM

Catjo, maybe or maybe not.

Wonnie 09-03-2013 07:30 PM

So...is your favorite color Quilty-Louise...orange? purple? navy???????????????????

wanda lou 09-04-2013 12:05 AM

Secret pal this is going to be easy, we like all the same things, including Halloween.

mscupid804 09-04-2013 03:35 AM

I find it very interesting that NO ONE has responded to a question I put out there for all my SP friends. I suppose all have forgotten me since I'm not on much anymore.

I found several on E-Bay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Christmas-St...item3cd56f8ce0
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Calico-Chris...item257e93af57
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Debbie-Mumm-...item3a84749e64
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-8-VTG-Qu...item3f28e30991
If you are Christian, here's my favourite: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FABRIC-PANEL...item25823be2ee

These are just the first page -- I used the search term: quilted stocking panels. Not all that came up were already quilted, but zooming on the picture easily showed if there were or not.

BTW, just so you don't feel left out, I was posting and doing the search FOR YOU when you posted the second time.

Quilty-Louise 09-04-2013 04:50 AM

Teresa,

I thought that I had a set of stocking panels, but sadly I
must have gotten rid of them already.

Had to wait until I got home from the cabin, and unpacked
before I could go look in my "Christmas" fabric bin.

sewnsewer2 09-04-2013 05:56 AM

What was your question, I must have missed it, sorry :(

Wonnie 09-04-2013 06:39 AM

Didn't respond because I had no answers for your question.

See post #61. I replied in post #75 with several I found by doing a simple search on E-Bay.

mscupid804 09-04-2013 10:08 AM
