Please note: there is a delay in items being shipped. Please be understanding. In some post offices in the US there are major delays.

This is a monthly secret pal swap. There is a sign up every month, and you can
choose whether or not to participate each month. You will get a different partner each month, and the person you send to will may be different than the person you receive from. Failure to send your package after signing up will be cause to be banned from all future swaps. Please do not sign up if you cannot fulfill your obligation. Have fun and be creative!

After receiving your Secret Pal’s details, go to work and put together a package with something you think your pal would like. There is a $15.00 limit on this swap that does not include what you have in your stash. (This does not include shipping) Most swappers do not mind like-new stash items. Please send items you would like to receive. Do not send smelly, holey, or stained fabric. You will need to send me (hav4boys) a PM when mailing and receiving. This way I can keep my records straight. Also send a PM to your SP thanking them. This is an important part of participating. It lets your secret pal know you got their package.

Please take pictures and post in group as everyone likes to see what you get.

Packages need to be mailed out by September 20th, this is a Firm deadline. All International mailings must be mailed by September 10th Firm. If you know that you cannot mail by that date, Please Do Not Sign Up.

For international mailing it is very important that you mark your parcel as a 'Gift' on the Customs Declaration (there's a box you can check). Also, the value should be $10 only (even if you send diamond necklace). The person receiving the package is liable for Import Duty, Tax and a Handling fee. This can cost the person receiving as much as $40.

Padded envelopes are much cheaper to send compared to small boxes. These can be ordered free of charge from the USPS website.

My secret pals last item arrives today and I am hoping to make her something today. Hopefully the package will be on it's way to you tomorrow.

My secret pal lives in a state that was one of the original thirteen colonies.

I have a question that you all probably will think is dumb, but I just was wondering. When do you like to get your package? Does it matter if you get it early or later. Sometimes the wait is exciting, sometimes you just want to get the surprise early. Sometimes you may wonder 'Is it ever going to get here.'

I like to get it within the month. Sometimes it takes awhile to get the items the secret pal prefers. I would rather wait and get a package that is more tailored to my likes then to get it early. Based on that I tried to do the same for others. Also people have life happening. So please communicate with the host, Kathy, if you run late.

the only thing that really sucks is getting a package that has nothing to do with me. You can tell when your secret pal just sends junk they already have or goes to the dollar store and just sends random stuff from there. It’s really nice when they take the time to send things tailored to the form we fill out each month. Sometimes that comes early if they have the stuff, or later if they order it but for me, that’s what makes it fun vs. disappointing.

Wow! My secret pal package came in. Thank you PamelaOry. You sure send me a personallized package of goodies. Lots and lots of reproduction style fabrics, a cute zippered ice cream cone pouch that I wonder if I can put small scissors in, yummy dark chocolates, sewing needles, an I love Havanese magnet, and the sweetest, cutest home made note card. I am left a bit speechless. You really spoiled me. Thank you for your kind and generous gifts.

I have no preference and it usually arrives on the perfect day. I am like Pam, I like to receive a package that thought has gone into. I love it when I see needles, patriotic fabric, turtles... it lets me know my swap partner read my form.

Hi Ladies,

My wonderful swap package arrived today - and as always Deborah was totally thoughtful and generous. She always sends something for Chloe... so I have posted a picture of her with her new squeaky toy... I had to give it to her immediately as she was jumping all over the place as soon as the package arrived.... she always seem to know when the package is from Deborah!

I got my most wanted, some Tula fabric and oodles and oodles of other stuff including a big piece of batik, a net bag, a toy for our Ellie, some scissors, a fun birthday stuffie, and a delightful card. I received a large package of many beautiful black and white prints-my favorite! Three wonderful patterns, a great magazine with a color wheel, delightful thread in my favorite colors, a big pack of my favorite needles, a cutter knife, an interesting magnetic parts holder which should be useful, a hand crocheted dishcloth, and a stuffed fox for Jack- which he took and ran away with!

Good Evening.
My secret pal was Monica. She really spoiled me. A couple of cozy mysteries, a cookbook, fat quarters 2 of which I can use to wrap some of soaps for men, socks, fat quarters in blue and white, quilt storage box, ruler, clips, storage box, peaches slices. She also made a beautiful little journal.

I feel very blessed.
