hey everyone, as for spring, anyond started spring cleaning? awww, how can we get rid of stuff?! I have accumliated stuff ,I know the three pile thing but decisions, decisions. and to throw something away! really not easy as it sounds, yeah good will ,salvation army etc, anyone else have that problem, do you get rid of excess material, scraps etc?? got my sewing room to do too.

Got your pm and am ready to roll. Any favorite colors you would like added in?.
I can't throw anything away that has to do with fabric lol.

oh dear your fast Vanogay! I am still not started but I do feel much better than last week and even yesterday so I think I will pull fabric tomorrow and get started. I think buslady is hiding for now? We wrote 2 weeks ago to each other but maybe she is busy with life. ha, who gets busy with LIFE? Brown, pink, green and blue's thats a start to my dq :)

You are definitely a speed demon! LOL You must know how terrible I am at waiting. :-) I'm still working on my doll quilt for you, got the top about half finished so far. I'm hoping to get some good time in this weekend on it. Here's a hint: it features water in it.

I'm also working on one for Mariah, I found some fabric that was calling out to me yesterday. It has several of her colors in it. :-)

It's not been that long, BRAT! I been on here. Yes, Life does get in the way. When at home, I have my phone or NOOK so harder to write. But I am Ready to go......
Coming from a hoarder, it is hard to let go of "stuff", but it is easier if it is going somewhere that you know it will be p0ut to good use. Gave away some baby fabric/books/panels to a new grandma, gave some shirts to a friend for work, leather coat to a kid that can't afford one himself, you get the idea. I still have way too much stuff.

marscrafter: water...hmmm you have me thinking! I'm not usually so speedy but this week I do not have my two year old grandaughter, its Spring recess. Amazing what you can do when your "helper" is not there. Wouldn't trade it for the world though, I am blessed. Today, off to pickup trimmings from the apple trees in the orchard. Sun is shining and life springs eternal.:D

CrazyQuiltinrobin just started on your quilt about 30 minutes ago it seems to be coming out great hope it keeps going that way. Still have much more to do hope you like it

my quilt came today from Difergie and it is so great! its hanging in my living room and brightening the place up a bit... i mailed mine yesterday so she should get it soon.

paperpieceme show us!!!!! sheesh its a secret wall hanging isn't it? I am devoting tomorrow to yours buslady. I finally have a day for me and a bit of energy at the same time. Today I worked on the design some more so I have cut outs (ah paper dolls!) to work with. Never did figure out the reverse image thing on the fusible paper so I figure if it started out left ends up right its still cute in the end. Its a small world.... that is your clue buslady. still think an acorn with my house address on it would have been cute but somehow a nut house with my numbers on it might not look so hot on your wall. so it was plan B. ok it was plan B all the time :) bright spring colors not pastels this time round. happy happy springtime and all that joyful splendor stuff.

marscrafter: Got to the post office today and mailed out your DQ. Look for arrival on Sat, have the tracking number if we need it.

Whoo Hoo!! Lovin the colors! Getting ideas Elisabrat, taking notes. Funny, saw something that sparked my idea on the net, sent the picture to the copy machine up in the front office cause it prints color. My assistant comes back and very meekly shows me that he had put a check in to print and my print came through first, so my idea is printed on a check. How am I gonna explain that one to the auditor? LOL

hurrah! I finally decided on what to do last night and I even got started. PROGRESS! Yeah!

OK. November quilt for Buslady is done. Not happy that the stitching for the label is showing through the front and I might rip it out and hand stitch. I guess it's the least I can do considering how late it is! For those of you who are new and wondering ... huh? Why is the hostess so late with her DQ? Go take a peek at my profile. 'Nuff said. I decided today that the event in October is not going to define my life.

I suggest if your auditor isn't a quilter, then change auditors straight away LOL But then again this could be an omen - your idea could become famous and people will be writing checks to you !!!

Buslady! I made the background and fused the pieces today. I will sew the applique down tomorrow and add my embellishments and its going to be pretty darned cute. Should have it done this weekend. and you can sew mine on a check I dont mind, could you make it a big check please? oh goody I can hardly wait this is going to be GREAT!

oh cool sewing on a check, now that is one i woudl love to get a swap in, that is a cool idea brat, yes minei s all packed and ready to go from march, will be monday as i cant get out tomorow and po is not open on sunday, now im planning this month , but it is done and very pertty and im sending it monday at the latest, sorry for the lateness but i am feelign better, now if the doc can hlep my leg sicne i fell and now i dont have a good leg, kinda hard to move around, im 50 and my mother is 70 and my MIL is 77 and both get around better than me, and my mother who is in the middle of cancer treatment, is coming with me to watch the girls during my heart sono and my MRI on my leg adn knee so hubby wont get a unexcused from work, as its not enough notice, and if i have to have any thing done , then he is the only one who can keep baby girl at night and she will sleep, and not cry, oh gonna have grandbaby tomorow, love that baby , may get pics of her, she can play with hubby and i can sew woohoo, ttul ladies blessigns all lovngrandma

Pretty quilts difergie and paperpieceme! Finished already? I'm still planning, if the ideas would stop coming I might be able to settle on one and just do it, lol. I always plan to take the entire month to get my quilt done. Luvstoquilt, don't expect a squishy anytime soon. :)

fI am going out of town so I had to get mine done...I usually quick, but not this quick! It kind of leaves the rest of the month empty getting it done so fast!

Mailed my DQ today. Should be in california by mid-week. Hope my partner likes it - we'll see.
