10 sets are cut and sorted. I included an extra square in each package, just in case. :)

Oh! Forgot to mention: I'm perfectly fine with jaba's neighbor swapping again. :thumbup:

Regarding the background color, I, too, have never heard that "rule" before, even though I've been quilting for a long time. I've always considered that the color the fabric "reads" is what color it "is", but to each her own. :) I do like the 80% rule for this swap, and like that our options aren't "set in concrete". I guess that makes me a rebel, too! :D

Rules...quilting has rules??! Nobody told me there were rules when I started quilting!

Rules? We don't need no stinkin' rules!! Quilting is creative, artistic, open to individual interpretation, and just plain fun!

there, that's my $.02 half-baked philosophy. It's served me well over the past 20+ years that I've been quilting! And I will proudly show you my teeny mistakes when I "bent" those unspoken rules too!

I think it would be a blast to have a round-robin and visit everyone's sewing havens. Logistically I know it is impossible (I personally don't have unlimited funds), but boy would it be fun!

You'd want to hit Arizona in January...might be a nice break from snow/cold!
