I'm a lurker on this thread, but had to jump out of the shadow to say WOW! That is fantastic! Can't wait to join the next swap!

DeltaMS I love your top!!!! The border is so pretty and ties everything together. Doesn't it feel great to have one in the checked (complete) column?

DeltaMS, I don't know how I missed the posting of your finished top. It is a wonderful setting! And the blocks shine beautifully. Thank your for sharing it.

I missed it too! How happy your summer quilt turned out Delta! You got one of my whales.

Summertime I quilt top is just about complete. Or should I say, Good Ole" Summertime Quilt 2012, Summertime I 2017 and Summertime II 2018. As there are blocks from all 3 Summertime Swaps. There's even an orphan block in there. Just 1 embroidery block to do and this quilt will be ready for the quilter.

My quilt is a Queen Bed Size. 84.5" W, x 94" L.

I used the pattern Glass Bottom Boats By Wendy Sheppard. Found here, http://www.windhamfabrics.net/cgi-bi...?patternID=720 I did have to change dimensions to fit my 12.5" block.

I love it, Judith!!! Congratulations on finishing so fast! It really does sing of a Florida summer. :)

And thanks for the link to your sashing pattern. I really like it and, if you don't mind, might try it?

Help yourself, That's why I posted the link. There is another one there that I might try out for the Summertime II Block Swap. Which will also be a blend of all my summertime swap blocks. But, that pattern will have to be changed as well. But, I had so much fun with this one, I thought I'd try it out again.

Truthfully, it was GracefulAnn's Quilt Top on page 9 that inspired me to re-do the top I was working on and push me to make it better.
