HI! I have half if not more already cut from last swap! I just pm'd you Missi to sign me up for 20 sets! Can we do more sets than 20 at this time? PLEASE????

Do what I'm doing and just keep a box filed with the extras and you'll be totally ready for the next one! You know that Missi isn't going to give up getting squishies on a regular basis! :)

I found the boxes that my husband gets computer parts in are perfect for the blocks. They are just deep enough to turn them on their side like a filing system and they lock when you close them! He's also happy not to just throw them away!

Up to 42 swappers. A few people have send me PM and are ready to mail. Lets keep the limit at 20 this swap since people have already mailed and I promise we will up it next swap. Most of us are swapping 20 sets, with 42 swappers I can guarantee no duplicate sets. If we upped it top 30 I don't think I could guarantee no duplicates. Hopefully we will continue to grow as a swap group and be able to up it to 50 sets.

Another thought is - and please give me feedback. The yahoo group I belong to and I know others here do to did a neutral swap. All whites, creams, beige etc. What do you all think about this? Yesterday while sewing at my LQS a friend handed me a stack of atleast 100 scraps from 2" wide strips and that got me to thinking about this. Let me know.

Sounds good to me to do a neutral swap! Then we really could make something awesome! I'm up for black tones as well! Mine are ready to go, just have to wait to do the PO til tomorrow!

I like the idea of a neutral swap, but to come up with 50 neutrals from my stash might be hard to come by. I have a lot of fabric and try to take from my inventory, not go out and get fabric specific for this swap.

Well, I thought of that a few days ago but never said anything. I also do the Stash Busters 10.5 swap and was thinking more on the line for that but for this swap...it's a Great idea too! :thumbup: :mrgreen:

Though we might not have that in our stash, we likely will have to purchase some for a project and can spare an extra 2 inches when we buy it! I'm always checking the remnant bin and there is plenty to do the swap in a rem!

Well maybe a neutral set is only 25 blocks and I would have to have a completely different sign-up, etc. so hopefully we would all be able to keep them straight :)

Got my package in the mail the other day, Missi.

I was worried the postage was going up on packages, but the man at the post office said they're probably not going up what we're doing, unless they are sent priority mail. Then he affixed the right amount of stamps on my SASE.

I'm working on another "postage stamp" quilt today that has finished 1.25" squares. I completed a long 12" row to the approximate center of the quilt. It's going to be a huge quilt when it's done. Now, I have to go back to the cutting board and cut some more 30s squares for the inner part, which I'm doing in lighthearted conversationals.

The change to 1" squares is going to be a challenge of endurance.
