Scrappers, I have 12 6.5" squares of Sponge Bob fabric (blue background with sponge bob and the starfish character, fairly large print) that I want to pass to somebody who will use them. I'll send them no-charge to the first person to PM me with their mailing address.

I make little quilts a lot so it doesn't use up my stash very quickly. So hope you don't mind if I start with some of my scraps and copy you.
this was a mystery quilt but can't remember who sponsored it. If I can find the pattern again, I'll post a link. It was actually pretty easy, although I did turn one of the HSTs the wrong way but, hey, you'll NEVER notice it with all that's going on in that quilt.

And, yes, she did love it. Thanks for all the sweet comments.

regina I made an off hand comment to a friend about being in the scrap club meaning like you'd say welcome to the grandma club! not a real club. So when this friend wanted to know what the scrap club was like it got me thinking about creating a real scrap club! so you have my friend to thank for the idea! LOL

So who is up for an item swap????? I am going to update the scrap swap here in a few mins and get it going. So if anyone is interested in making an item and swapping then let me know here or in a pm.

As to what the item is I thought maybe that could be the partners decision together rather than making it a specific item taht many may not want to make or may not need. so if you partner wants to do a hot pad and you want to do a mugrug then you can agree or find a compromise. What do you think?

there are enough set swaps out there I'd like this to be a bit more unique and have more options.
but I'll go with the flow and what everyone wants to do is fine with me.
If you all prefer to set a particular item as the swap I'll be happy to do that too.

We could also make it a blind swap and everyone make something small as in mug rug size etc and then I give out addresses so noone knows what is coming til they get it.

Default scrappy squares

Hi everyone.............. this is one of the ways I use my scraps. I have 49 - 10" squares done. Almost enough for a quilt. My next quilt to use scraps is going to be a string quilt of some sort. There are so many beautiful scrap quilts shown on QB and I love them all........ scrappy quilts are one of my favorite to make.
