Yes Anna I mean the piano key type of borders.

As for paper piecing no it isn't paper pieced. I use my shortcut methods and that uses the templates I offered.
When you are ready to check out my methods just let me know if you need any help. I'll be happy to help you figure it out.

Thank you Rhonda. I will let you know when the templates are in and I am ready to try a small project. The hot pads are lovely. If they are an appropriate beginners project I would like to try two of the hot pad projects. Thank you for all your kind help.

Hi Rhonda,

I'm interested in the pine tree swap. How many blocks will we be making & when will be the due date?

So do you have templates that are 1 1/2 or smaller then?

Thanks for the info!

Good to know, Rhonda. Thank you. I'm enjoying this thread, even though I haven't signed up for any swaps yet.

It is good to see this thread active again! I have found I like the smaller quilt project better. Right now I am working on some mug rugs to match a table runner I did earlier this year. The center pieced block measures about 2.25 finished.(still need to get that 1/4 inch seam better!)

And this is one that was given at Christmas. It measures I think 12.5 by 13.5 and the tree is made of 1 inch finished HST's.

I did use Ronda's 1 1/2 template for this one.

Wonderful projects Dede!! Love them! and of course I love that you used my template!

Yes Muse I have 1" 1 1/4" 1 1/2" and 2 1/2" templates I can send out for free. I also offer a free 3" clear template with a 30 degree scored line for making my star point blocks.

I'm waiting to see how many we have want to join in. if it is only you and Javin then you can just swap between you. so I haven't thought about mailing date and how many blocks yet. I'll probably leave that up to the swappers.
How many blocks would you want to make and receive? What time frame works for you?

Is this for a scrappy block and can you make whatever block you want? If so I'll join in.

Unless otherwise asked for it is for a 12 1/2" quilt block
Your partner may ask for a diff size and if that is okay with you then go for it!

As always I need at least 4 people to make this swap work.
Sign up by April 7. I'll let you know who is your partner on the 8th.

Yep this is for a scrappy quilt block. so if you want in I'll add your name to the list.
I'll let the swappers exchange addresses so you don't need to send me anything.
