Default Here is the quilt I am making

It is Kona black with batik stars and a narrow purple border. The back and binding will be purple too and the batting is warm and natural. It is not basted yet but I stacked all the layers together for the picture. I will not have it quilted till end June as one of my daughters is getting married.

I love Hawaiian prints! That is so sweet of Cindy. Does she like my top?

Feel free to post the photo of my quilt to the group so that the gal who is missing a quilt knows that she will receive one. My top is made from my Hawaiian fabric stash."

What do you think AnnaQuilts? Want it?

Beautiful quilts...each one is so unique and I know how much caring went into making each one. Quilter momma is right..it is a joy to share part of yourself with someone else who really appreciates the quilt.

Hello all, just reading the posts and have been busy with the lap quilt for my partner. I sent a PM to my partner yesterday telling her the next thing on her lap quilt is putting it on my LA and getting that finished. Then the binding will be ready to finish it off. I can hardly wait to see all the gorgeous quilts.

my partner has been MIA as well. I did PM her about my concerns, as I am having foot surgery and with all the pain of trying to sit and sew, I am afraid her quilt is not getting far either! I have however convinced my DH that he can help IF my partner still wants to play.

I wish I would of kept up with this forum! My partner and I agreed to keep our quilts a surprise. I just redid her border the first one I did was just to much for the quilt, because the quilt itself is pretty 'active'. I wish I could post a photograph but I don't want to spoil the surprise for her. I hope it is what she wants, I have worked really hard on this. I just have to now start getting it sandwiched and then quilted. I am not good at machine quilt and even worse with the handquilting because of my hands. But unfortunately I cannot afford a professional longarm quilter. and I do honestly believe my partner will love it because I made it just for her. If not she can lie to me HEHEHE . anyways I have truly enjoyed looking at everyone's photographs and wow! This was definitely an awesome idea, and I am glad to see that no quilter will be left behind in this swap. Now I am going to say I am so excited to get a quilt that is made just for me, I have ALWAYS wanted someone to make me a quilt. I have some doll quilts, which are wicked cute, but this I am so incredibly excited about!!! OK enough rambling..
