JNCT, how Rhonda explained the process is the way I do it. I started with a 3 1/2" block on this one with 1 1/2" x 5" strips. I have done a couple others that I started with a bigger square and then increased the size of the strips accordingly. The Christmas runner I made with these blocks turned out awesome.

Have a great day! I have the day off so am starting a new quilt for our renters in MI who are getting married in May. Can't wait to see how it goes together.

I was wondering where this very spring themed quilt was going. All the signs are there right down to a little puddle duck puddle.
    The sun looks really inviting.

I received the most BEE-utiful wallhanging today from Skaduzy! Great spring colours and some wonderful embroidery. She also included a hanger and a pretty neat quilt-themed nail file. Thanks Sue!!
