Received a beautiful block from Grandma Di today! Thank you!! Love the colors. I will post a picture tomorrow. I forgot to go by the PO today and our little PO is closed now on Sat's so I will go on Monday. I will let you know when I do. Sorry Grandma Di for waiting until the last minute to send. I was trying out the curves and had to restart several times, but I am happy with the out come. I'll post that picture as well tomorrow.

June 1st is my mother's birthday, so in memory of her I would like to post a few pictures. I hope you don't mind. She was older (76) and thin when she passed away, and my sweet dad is thin now. He is 80 now.

Mom picked out a pattern in a size that mom said was very big on her, because she didn't know what size she was. Her mom was very poor, and raised 10 children by herself. Mom and dad were married almost 60 years. (The quilt block I made for my partner is made from all fabric that my mother gave me shortly before she passed away, except for the green).

No problem queen of 2802 I'm really glad you like the colors. I haven't had the courage to try curves yet. I cant wait to see what you have put together.

I hope I haven't kept anyone from posting your blocks due to my adding those pics of my mom and her quilts. I guess I was caught in the emotion of the moment. You have to over look me sometimes. lol...
