please everyone feel free to bat around ideas on here or post pics of fabrics embellishments or patterns you are thinking of using! We love pics!

Do be mindful of copyright restrictions on patterns tho. Thanks!!

With swaps what copyright restrictions on patterns would apply?

Basically if you use a pattern that you didn't create then give credit to the designer who did create the pattern.

It is also not allowed to post a pic of a published pattern. As in a picture of a magazine article cannot be posted on here. Or any pics out of a quilt book you bought can not be posted online. It is against the copyright rules.

But you can post pics of your fabrics and your progress. You can post any drawings you might make in the process of creating your wall hanging

and you can post what you've made. i've been very careful to mention that the original designs for my blocks were created by helene knott. the fabric choices are mine.

I am thinking of using easter fabrics as my theme but then what if I get someone who does not like easter? so maybe just easter colors? and is that pastel easter or bold bright easter colors.. all too confusing its early enough to do a St patricks color hanging so many options. I am the holiday queen (self proclaimed so dont even think of jumping into my thrown) so I tend to think holidays vs seasons. what say everyone to a specific holiday theme or is it better to skip that? now I am worried. oh dear ... not really I don't worry to much about things like this. (sometimes though I might)

I was thinking of Easter also. Love holiday wall hangings. But I think I'm going with spring/spring fabric colors. By the end of Feb. we will all be thinking of spring and what it will bring. It was 28` here this morning with a high of 35`. No wonder I have a fire in the fireplace and warm clothes on.
