Mary it can be any size you want. I think an average would be about 3' x3' but it can be anything between a mugrug -6" x 8" to a lapsize or crib size quilt-4' x 5'

I have had so many question sizes that I tried not to limit this too much. So the numbers are not an exact requirement

I would love to do this and I would love to swap internationally (Ireland). I already have a 4 block piece started. So, this would fit perfectly for this swap. So sign me up.

kiffie-- congrats on the wedding! so happy you like your dil-to be. mine is wonderful and living north of dallas. this does sound like a lot of fun! i'm not an experienced quilter but i do enjoy making small ' artfully' quilted things! love to receive hand quilted, too.
Thanks so much for your kind regards!! We are super excited, and I have to say I feel as if I am running around in circles!! I haven't started on my wall hanging yet, I just can't seem to quilt volunteering to do more wedding things..LOL.. But I seem to work best under pressure anyways...
Take care,
Kif

I will keep you and your spouses in my prayers, too...My dh has MS and Addison's disease, my Mom lives with us and she is a lung cancer survivor, and I have Lupus...I try and not be to whiney about it all, but I am only human and have my moments...then I tell myself that I am blessed to have people who love me, and I have wonderful people to love...and it could be worse, and yes, I do a lot of praying...which works for me...
Take care all,

Kif, have you heard of the book "Keep your mouth shut and wear beige" bt Kathleen Gilles Seidel. It is about the mother of the groom and it is a real funny book. My wonderful quilting buddy and total best friend gave it to me.

My son is also getting married this year, maybe October but date not set yet! Don't they know that I have to know how much time I have to do Stuff! LOL, I am going to make them a double wedding ring quilt, and that alone will take me a really long time! I told my DIL to be she might see it by their golden Anniversary if she is lucky!

I also opened my big mouth and said I would make her dress! But I really don't mind as she is such a sweetie and will not turn into a Bridezilla.

Am I suppose to use 4 different blocks in the wall hanging or can they all be the same?
