I'm not lost. I'm really sorry Sherryl. I thought I was only behind a couple of weeks. We had lice come home from school twice, so the top went into quarentine for 2 weeks (it was in the main living area) and then I had a family emergency due to my dad falling 9ft onto his head and being airlifted across the state to the major trauma center. I was in Seattle with him for over 3 weeks. I'm almost caught up on all of my swaps, I think...except for my IRR. I did receive the next top from Australia the beginning of the month.

I am sure everyone will eventually end up with their tops, some unfortunate family emergencies have gotten in the way of timely mailings but it will all be good in the end. It will be a lot of fun to see all the finished tops. Hope to hear from all of you soon.

I just realized that it's been a while since pics have been posted. Here is quiltergirl80's and littlemo's RR's as they arrived to me...I have not added my border yet ;)
I am about halfway through making the border for quiltergirl80's though!!! I plan on shipping it off this coming week!
Please excuse the lack of space-my design wall is filled up and I had a traffic jam with chairs in my room at this moment in time!!

Still haven't received any tops to be working on from last round or this one. Any news?

Thanks,
Sherryl

Hi Sherryl! I've purchase the fabric for both tops and was planning on getting started on them this week (been driving my step daughter across the state for a couple of summer camps) but just came home from our last trip to a note from my husband leaving me. I'm wondering if I can send the tops to you and the fabric. I have to be out of my house by the end of the week, as he's the only financial supporter and rent is due next week. I also need to change my mailing address for little mo to send the next round. I will be able to pick back up, just in another house I'd be willing to add the final round onto these tops. I'm so sorry about bringing my life into this and messing up the cycle.

please send an email, as I'm not always on quiltboard lately ([email protected]) I know, not supposed to put personal stuff on here, but the entire Boomerang Borders group needs to know what the heck is holding things up

Oh my dear, Kristy-do NOT worry about my top, AT ALL...you can send it on to the next person and if it comes to me a round short that's ok by me (mine is the blue and brown pinwheel). These swaps are extra, they're fun, they're things that we do when our worlds are like "la la la". NOT something you need to worry about when you have real life issues going on. Take care of yourself and believe me when I say that although it may seem like everything's going wrong lately, there is true hope in the Lord. I am praying for you and your Dad and your situation.
