Klarina I got your row yesterday! It's so cute. I have many ideas...

Today I took my 1st paper piecing class. I'm hooked. I started working on our guild challenge which is 4 blocks that are paper pieced. I am making a fish wall-hanging for my husband for his birthday in June but have to have it finished for our challenge in May so it works out perfectly.

OK, I spent the whole afternoon getting my applique cut out and fused in place for Karen's quilt. I had grabbed one of my granddaughters coloring books and was on a roll. I got 5 blocks ready then decided to surf the quilting board for a few minutes......then I realized that her theme was "farm animals" and a few of mine would not be found on a farm.
So I'm back to the drawing board looking for a couple replacement animals.....the Lion and the Toucan just couldn't pass as farm animals. The others could sneak through because they could be found on any farm. Next time maybe I should slow down and read more carefully!!!

Kathy those will be fine! I have prints of lions and giraffes etc in my room. Sides that...there are some farms down here that used raise lions!

Christine...I have a question before I get started on your row. Are you wanting to stay with the colors that you used in your stars and background fabric? I have a pile of btiks in alot of colorways, some are brighter. I am thinking 3 bright and 2 deeper colors...I can post a picture if it would help you.
Thanks,
Karen

That is great!!! They are really cute so I was sad to have to set them aside. I will proceed with my 5 first choices. Working from a coloring book is so much fun :)
