Wanda lou, what are some of your favorite things? This might help you decide on a theme. I have an idea for you. Pick your favorite colors and then do a sample block of all the new blocks I have taught you to make. Then your theme could be samples of all your favorite colors and blocks. The blocks can be the favorites of those in your group. Or, all in your favorite colors. You might be really surprised at what you get back. What do you think?

Love the bookshelf idea. That seems like it would be fun to work on.

I am with you Difergie, I am still trying to think of what I want to do. Good thing I have a few days to keep thinking because I have been so busy on other things that this has taken a back burner for now. thinking, thinking thinking......

I found some material today to make sashings for mine. I will send sashing and I want to have them attached. I found some green and cranberry.

I believe the sashing question is to be settled by individual groups after groups are assigned. Personally, I am willing to do whatever the quilt owner wants, but will defer to the decision of the group. One concern mentioned about including sashing strips is additional mailing costs.
