Hi Lisa_ Thank u The quilt in the backround was made by my MIL's mother, years and years (50 at least) ago. Every stitch is hand sewed and it not perfect but its so beautiful to me. I think somtimes we worry to much about matching every little thing. I try very hard to match things and to sew my best and if I make a mistake I take it apart and fix it... ONE time not 10 times to make it perfect. The people that get my quilts are not perfect and they dont mind if the quilt isn't.
Happy Sewing
Pat in icy Tn.

I agree people can go batty looking for perfection. Do the best you can and enjoy the hobby.

Pat's fall colors quilt has made it to my house. It's really getting around. TN, MT and now IL. Next it's on to OK. These will be well travelled quilts when they get home!

I'm really excited about doing Pat's row. It looks like a block I can make and it gives me an excuse to buy a few fat quarters! Life is good!

Did Kelly's row make it to you, Roda? The tracking info says it did, but that is not always the case.

Hi all, pat I put the rows in the mail yesterday. They said two days but there's a Sunday in there so you may not get it until Monday. Well I have to say I am a bit embarrasses the way so many of my points didn't match on my Diva row. I think I thought making the blocks were easier than they were. For you experienced ladies I am going to ask, "how I could of sewn those blocks easier" I wound up cutting each piece but wouldn't it have worked by putting two squares together then sew and then cut? I don't know, Roda it is't perfect but I did the best I could. I am open to any input from you ladies! I am going to have surgery on my foot next week (as a result of being hit by a truck in 1995) I think the timing is good because I should be getting the next row soon. I can contemplate it for a few days and by that time will hobble upstairs to my sewing room! Happy sewing ladies! Roda from your discription of your life I bet the grand kids love to visit you!

I've pawned the GS's off on papa. Turned some quail out and they went hunting. Cleaned the feed bin last week and got the dust in my lungs this just about to do me in. If I didn't hate doctors so much I would be tempted to go see one. But I m to hard headed so they tell me. Don't worry about those point they will more than likely match mine sometimes mine looks like a crosseyed person was working on mine just keep trying. You'll get it

I bought some fun fat quarters for Pat's quilt which is visiting me this round. It's kind of neat to work on someone else's project because if forces you to look at fabric that is not typical for you. When this project is finished, my scrap bin might finally have something that is 1930's repros or pink and green! My horizons need broadened!

I was wonder of any of you would be interested in some scraps. I was givin 4 bins of fabric and I've been squaring up the ends so they fold nice and fit in the shelfs. So I have the ends I know I'm crazy but I like my fabric square on the ends
