We will see, the ladies of the church have their baked goods sale as well. I wanted to put them in the stockings I am making to sell so it would promote both. Oh well, such as it is.
So we get to see photos of your row that you have worked on so much?

How is everyone else coming along. Whigrose, you said that you changed it up a bit, so what will we get to work on?
Wondering about peggiszo and babeyruth, how are you two doing. I think we will be considered down to the wire for getting done because we only have four weeks left. I know if I don't get to go to Montana, I will be working on this and Marlena's Christmas block quilt from that swap and the one from last year that I never did. yep a UFO.
I know I saw my box of fabric last night under the longarm while I was working and thinking I better decide how and what I am going to do for this.
Wondering, from what I do, let say a couple blocks and some applique, how will the help lead others into working on their row of my quilt? Just some food for thought. If I do a whole row of applique across, will that lend itself to help you work on and around it? Do I do pieced blocks? Questions questions questions.

I pieced a 60 1/2 in. row but not of 12 1/2 in. blocks. Some blocks are pieced and some applique or combo. I also mixed home spun in there. I am pretty flexible but hope that colors and style will blend.

Hi All!

I have my row ready, just waiting for the mailing dates to come on up. I am going with a modern theme on both the RRs. One is made up of green, black and grays, the other is multicolor. I don't know which I'll be sending to with group. It is strange to be so quiet on the RR, but I think since we have so much time in between deliveries, there's not too much to say. lol

Well, you were quiet because you were so busy getting it done. Nice job. So do we get to see pictures?

Default Picture of my rows ready to go. :)

Hi QuilterMomma,

I took a pic of the 2 rows I finished, since I'm in this and another group. I haven't decided which one will go to which group. They are both kind of modern. One has lime-green, white, black and gray colors, the other Orange, lime and white, with a few blues thrown in for the mix. Hope you all like the pic.

They both contain black with white polka dots for the Dresden plate centers and Strips of the other. The white is not solid, I am not a big solid fan, but I love tone on tones or small print just fine.

Lovely! I hope we get the second strip with the orange. I have some ideas already and lots of oranges to choose from but no grays.

If I get to choose, I want the second one as well. Loving that modern feel. Love it totally. Now the green one is cool, could see doing some other geometric shapes on that one with a different option on color placement but keeping in the tune of it. Oh these are going to be great to whichever one you decide, but I am sure you will send us the second row because two of us want it already.

What about this: Cut my background piece the length I need 13" wide by 61", then applique what I want on it for an african/safari scene, then others can either add another row as such or do blocks. this way if my dd wants to hang it up instead of using it as a quilt, she will enjoy it either way. then when i get it back to quilt, will add my borders and do accent lines and designs to put texture to the applique. You gals up for that? I will have some time when going to Montana to work on cutting out the pieces and drawing. May be some fun free motion stuff or do another technique using bits and pieces of fused fabric, (What was that called again). Just a thought out there for ya.

Sounds good to me Beth. I did a combo on my original border but in essence it is a pieced strip of odds and ends. People can add a strip like you said, do 5 blocks or a combo like I did. I am game if you want to do the applique. I do ask for people to please sew down the applique if they decide to use applique to add to my row robin.
