Default Scrappy Hunter Star Block Swap - Due Sept 15th

SCRAPPY HUNTER STAR BLOCK SWAP

Welcome to our Hunter Star block swap. I’ve hosted block swaps in the past and am excited to offer another swap. We will be making scrappy Hunter Star blocks 8 ˝” unfinished using the easier method pictured below.

Please use any one print for the units shown in ‘gold’ and a white, off-white or other light-colored fabric for the other half of the quilt block.

Print fabric: (same print per block)
4 ˝” square

Light colored fabric: (same print per block) A small print is okay.
4 ˝” square

8 Half Square Triangles (HST’s) 2 ˝” unfinished from the print/light background combo.

We will be making these blocks in sets of six. You may make/send as many as 6 sets of six blocks (36 blocks) to be swapped.
The mailing deadline is SEPTEMBER 15[SUP]TH[/SUP]. Please include $6.80 IN POSTAGE for a return Padded Flat Rate Envelope.
BE SURE to include your full mailing address. We will be making and swapping Hunter Star blocks each month so we all will have a great scrappy assortment for our quilts!!

Let’s get started!!

I am in again for September...number of sets still up in the air. Will send a PM because I know that is easier to track for the organizer (Jane)!

Yeah!!! I forgot to include something in the posting instructions. Please label your quilt blocks. It helps me immensely. I labeled the blocks for the August swap this morning so I'd know who sent what.

Thanks in advance - - -

I am in again for six sets. They should be right on target this time. Life has its moments, then it is me.

Here's who we have so far:

Glasqlts
Jannie (2 or 3 sets)
Rosemary Attaway (1 or 2 sets)
Chasezzz (2 or 3 sets)
Judith1005
QuilterMomma (6 sets)

I humbly ask that, especially for those making 6 sets, please make as many different blocks, using different fabrics for each block as possible. Otherwise, the other swappers end up receiving multiples/duplicates of the same block.
