My package arrived yesterday - yea! So exciting. Thank you, audrey, red, libster, moonrise, Jannie, and cheesehead for such bright, beautiful AND perfect nine patches. I've spent the whole morning looking for that perfect pattern to use. Thank you to sewbiz too for a great swap!

Just saw this pattern and think it might work for these patches. I know I would have to make some separate sets of three patches to complete it. What's anyone's thoughts about it - need some other opinions. Thank you.

obrienwv, I think that is a very nice pattern. The extra 3 patch blocks add such charm to this quilt pattern. Thanks for sharing.

Very cute quilt, obrien! I think it would work very well.

I'm not seeing 3-patch blocks, tho. I see additional 5 patch strips (4 on the edges), and white strips.

I've decided to applique scrappy stars onto the solid white alternating squares in my Irish Chain setting. I cut them all out today and started fusing them in place. I can't wait to see how this will look!

Hi, I just looked at it and you would need 42 five patch strips sashed by white on both sides to make this quilt top.. You need 42 of the nine patch blocks we exchanged to complete this top as it is shown.
