ok so we know its not a toilet cover. that sure narrowed it down. I say tablerunner. course wont know til its all fluffed up and ready to go. I made this side swap adorable mug rug today. I have to bind it but it came out if I say so myself pretty cute. I rarely say that so this one is good. I used piggy fabric and this one has a pig I appliqued on the front with flowers and well its a crack up. in a good way lol. I might finally get the hang of this mug rug stuff before I get bored and off to new grasses. Speaking of grasses .. I sure have a lot to do. I finished quilting another tablerunner and ok its 80 percent quilted and will bind that and then I think I can breathe or not. then only a quilt, two quilts check that.. boom and a tablerunner swap ahead. and of course this one. I think a bonnet is what my partner needs. a nice blue bonnet. it will look great over there.. big old ties that can make a chin bow on it, maybe some fabric flowers and little house on the praire here it comes. yeah thats the ticket. now to find a bonnet pattern. I am thinking no one is making aprons? I havent heard aprons.

Jan whatever you make me will fit just nicely. especially that thing. uh hah yup thats the one. you are perfect at that! need me to send say a nice cold one for you while your working so you can keep at it all night?

dustysmom I think I need you to come kick start me. a nice shoulder rub would be good. you did read your job description? team cheerleader extroidenaire? yup that includes back rubs. with danish carmels. especially shoulder back rubs. yup .. me first. *too late guys I signed up first for this rubbing stuff.

Elisabrat, here's some cheerleading for you (courtesy of our local high school):

Now get to it lady!

So you need a quilted toilet cover? Hmm, not sure I'd want one of those. An apron? I make lots of those, but mine is in storage. I don't know how much I'd get to use it anyway. I'm not the cook I used to be since I started having trouble with my foot a year ago. A cover for my Kitchenaid mixer would be cool, if I had somewhere I could leave the mixer out! My bread machine stays out though. Half the counter space in our kitchen is taken up by the "coffee bar", where we have both a Tassimo and Kurig coffee maker and all the pods to go with both. No joke, it takes up all the space between the sink and the fridge!

I lived in this marvelous old farm house many moons ago. I had 10 inches of counter. No dishwasher. Loved that house. the kitchen was huge but it was for a big family table. We had an 8 seater table without the two leaves in there (they fit just nicely in that room too we are talking big open area). I loved that house a huge yard with a huge veggie fruit garden off to one side. In the suburbs a 1/2 acre lot was monsterous. And bay area .. yikes. Now we live on 1/2 acre but with the forest across the street well the yard seems a lot bigger . AH non of my keys want to work this morning everying is sticking. argh computer pirates!

ok just reread your description and you SAID you wanted fun exciting projects. oh heck. am I in trouble. I think I am having fun doing this but maybe you will accept pretty and useful? oh dear in deed. who is making exciting? it will be a suprise I am sure. mine has none of the following: animals. fruit. holiday. novelty. solid black, green or brown. That is the clue of the day. if you asked for the above you are not my partner.

Well, I do want some fun & exciting projects, but useful is more important. Some people are into the practical, some whimsy, some want the strange and unusual. So long as your partner is happy, that's all that matters. I just thought that a swap that's wide open to possibilities would give everyone lots of creative freedom and their swap partners a great surprise when they got their package.

So I've already spilled what it is that I'm making. Now, I have to decide what size pillow forms I should make these covers for. 12"x12"? 24"x24"? Somewhere in between?

Psst! If you haven't heard, and you're not over your eyeballs in swaps already, make your way over & sign up for Anastasia's spring table runner swap. We had so much fun with the last one that we're doing it again already!

Default Runner has come home

Well fellow swappers I just have to post this one first - I chuckled when I saw the mug rug that came in the mail with my swap partners awesome over the top table runner; I'm doing the HAPPY DANCE - slide to the left - slide to the right - shake it left shake it right - turn around all the while clapping my hands in joy. Thank you jaba Jan - you are the best swap partner ever.
