i love fatcat designs! the lady lives within spittin' distance of where i used to live in texas! i saw the fish quilt and fell in love, and the castles for my princess dgd, and then...... i just can't find one i don't like!! i have to make her (my dgd) a tea party quilt since that is my big thing and i want to have teaparties on skype. cutest little teaparty story to share. when sally was 2 she set up a tea party for herself and her daddy. he was enthralled with how cute the whole thing was. when mommy came home, sally's daddy told her all about the teaparty his clever little daughter had put together. the mommy listened and smiled and when the daddy finished with how sally had poured tea into their cups, and went to get more after they finished drinking the first cup. the mommy smiled and said," and i bet it never occurred to you that the only water she can reach is in the toilet....."

oh oh thank you for finding that pattern again for me. I spent a good two hours trying to locate that. argh! has anyone gone to stitchsanctuary.com tons of bom's to drool over.. sigh love those block a months I can fit a block a month in my life think I am going to do that owl one though its pretty darned cute. I need that earth tone fabric quilt and well they could be sorta earth tone just with a picture too... for the older child not the new baby. might be scary for a little one? I might just want it for me however also as its super cute .. and i am not an owl person. really want a chicken quilt. on black. crazy bright colors. Tracibug is probably going to have a swap for those.. wiggling eyebrows.. doesnt that sound fun?

Here was my first chicken quilt... damned if those little buggers don't have the cutest pants. They were my inspiration to start quilting 13 months ago.

OMG, they do have adorable pants!

Once again, I was going to start cutting last night, but ended up working on Nancia's runner for the other swap instead. I did realize I'd not done something I should have in the calculations, so I did that too. Rip roaring & ready to go now! I think it'll go together fairly quick, just a lil tedious & requires concentration.

You're quick! Well, maybe the others in your group will finish soon. If you don't want to wait, you ship at your own risk.

so... is the work on my runner a lil tedious and slow? or is that referring to your home dec project? just trying to keep an eye on your progress. 8-)

Mine will be ready to go in the mail on Monday .. so I will be hoping that Dustysmom is good with that.Oh well I AM good with that and as stated if they do not return the swap well it is not something i am going to cry over. I have faith things tend to work out.

I have a couple urgent get done by tomorrow projects so wish me a day without naps boy wouldnt that be good. I really enjoyed making this project. not sharing what kind of project it is but it came out pretty. that counts still hoping that Christmas quilted item your making for me does not get lost in the mail. I have a PO perhaps I need to send it to you to make sure you have it correct?
