I hope you feel better soon! It's been a nasty flu season here. Everyone's had it at some point, except us (knock on wood). We've had other things instead though. I was sick for Thanksgiving and Christmas and am thankful not since I got over them both. I flew home from Denmark with a head cold and my right ear has been ringing ever since. My doctor referred me to my ENT, who has been trying a couple different things, but now it's allergy season & it's hard to tell if anything is working because the effects of the allergies counteract the meds. He said the next thing to try is to put tubes in my ears. In the meantime, I've lost 10 decibels of hearing in that ear that I may or may not get back.

Loss of hearing isn't good, I know because I have it. My ears always ring and it's so annoying.

I will hope the warmer weather will help you heal a little faster. a few minutes even 10 outside might just help dry things up. oh wait! your in FL not dry heat at all. oh heck. well sewing, sewing drys things up. get into the sewing room. it has a healing affect for me hope it does for you too.

I have to take care of hubby, my 6 yo DGD and 4 cats! Hubby has been taking up the slack pretty good tho.
I have a dr appt friday, if I don't feel better by then I will ask for something to help. I had an appt last week but I was to sick to go (it was just routine).

I am so tardy at posting, but my life has been in an uproar the last two weeks. I received a wonderful table topper from Elisabrat!! It is so pretty and The colors absolutely match my dining room (if I can find it, right now under amound of boxes from my kitchen remodel). I absolutely love it!!

Well well well I was blessed with a suprise package in the mail yesterday!!!! and let me tell you everything I received is perfect my partner went above and beyond for me and I want to say thank you so very much. I love everything!!!! I received a great berry pie pot holder, two beautiful placemats in such happy colors and coordinating napkins AND an embroidered towel that will hang on my vintage towel holder and if anyone uses it they will be shot. its all so pretty. lucky lucky me! According to the USPS my package was delivered to my partner last week. I have not seen it posted yet and have not heard a word from her. So I will post a picture of a small bit of what I sent to her. She wanted something for her kitchen, so using the Moda Bake Shop ideas, I made eight coasters and one much larger coaster - my thought to place a pitcher of lemonade or put of coffee on. I also included two reusable coffee traveling mugs that matched the colors of the coasters. (Did not take a picture of the coffee mugs). Attached is a picture of the coasters. The larger one looks exactly the same but supersized.

Wow! I got such a lovely surprise in the post from Shannon ( craftygal63) yesterday. 2 extremely cute owl placemats for my boys and a lovely bag in my favourite colours. Thanks also for the soup, it is cold today so it might be my lunch
