I've been telling y'all how lucky I am with a wonderful hubby helping me with so much since I broke my arm - well, I'm even luckier than I thought. The lady I walk with (No, she didn't push me down that fateful night...) anyway, my friend came over today to help me wrap my Santa boxes. All the stu--er--gifts are totally wrapped - BUT, she wrapped the bells so they wouldn't jingle all the way. So, no noise from ny boxes. I plan to mail them right around 1 Nov so thet'll sit here safe for another week or so. And one of them might get wet crossing the pond.
Reveal Day is Dec 9th, right? I have it circled on my calendar. No fear - they will be marked from Secret Santa

Well gang, I'm home from the quilt show for the day. What a time we all had! Quite a few people came to see the quilts! I was surprised! I did get to meet one of our fellow board members too! It's sure good to meet some of the other members!
Now for ribbon results. My French Braid took 3rd place & my Mystery Train Ride#2 took Honorable Mention. The entire class where Texas Butterfly Ballet was entered wasn't scored...no ribbons on any of the entries, so our co-ordinator is going to go back over the sheets & possibly call the judge tonight to find out what happened (she had a quilt in that category too!). Deep in the Heart of Texas & Black & White Orion didn't get anything. But that's where the bulk of the entries were too. There's some awesome quilts on display there. If you're in the area, come on by!
I did pick up a couple of items for my Santaee too. I think they'll really appreciate them...or at least I hope they will. I already have my jingle bells in the box so the mailman can guess too!

Well, I'm off on a shop hop tomorrow! First time I've been able to go on one, and I'll be looking for some fat quarters and a few other goodies to go in my box! I invited a lady from church who does some quilting. We've never done anything together so I'm hoping the day goes well and maybe it will be the start of a quilting buddy friendship. I've always wanted someone to do quilty things with!

I didn't know that. Was it because of Gone with the Wind? hehe

I see you are from Florida...Chocolate melts very quickly there..Since you wouldn't want that to happen creating waste, let me know where to meet you..I am in FL too, so I am perfectly capable of meeting up with you and helping keep that chocolate fresh and not melted
Pat, I can eat the chocolate way before it starts to melt...there's also the refrigerator! I like my chocolate cold!!! Just call me a little chocolate piggy! If you're a chocoholic too, bet you don't share either.
