YOU WHAT????? This is July... I realize life gets in the way sometimes, but when you cannot get things out in a timely manner then those people make it bad on the rest of us who won't commit because they can't get something out or they get their package/DQ whatever out when it should be out in that month.Hopefully by that deadline...
I for one don't want to play because I may be one of those like Krystyna who hasn't gotten theirs from the previous
month... I might sound harsh and I really don't let it bother me, but do feel bad for the person/persons it is affecting. There are so many quilts/packages coming though and theirs is not there... Really Sad... If I made you feel bad, I am sorry.... Forgive me, but I do try to tell it like it is... God Bless Rosemary

Ladybug 1938, I hear you and agree. However, there may be an emergency, but if there is someone should at least contact their partner or the thread creator if they are not incapacitated to let them know it will be late. If the person is consistently late then they should not be able to participate any longer.

    Nancia,

Thanks for asking about the family and the fires. To be honest
I have no clue about any of the fires in CO now, because the mass
shooting from last week has taken the spot light as so it should.

JuanitaBean, Quilty-Louise What a wonderful quilt, it really says summer.

Colorado is sure being challenged. Prayers to all the victims of the shooting, and for all of those that are still dealing with fires or the loss from fires.

Hello!!!! I sure miss not looking forward to my squishy in the mail I was at our LQS this a.m. and needlegrammy got a call that she needed to head home (Pennslyvania) her daddy was not very good. I am asking you keep her and her family in your prayers during this time. He was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago and they said they couldn't do anything for him. He was in a nursing home to recover from his surgery, then needlegrammy was going to take care of him until he could do for himself. He was admitted to hospital last night with pneumonia. Thank you!!!! I am looking forward to the amish DQ in August looking through my books!!!!!

Thanks for letting us know. Her dad and family will certainly be covered with prayer!

I am also looking forward to the Amish theme, but I am really looking forward to finding all the pieces I cut out.

Sometimes you need a little motivation to get your hoard, um, I mean stash, cleaned up. Saturday my dear friend Sharon is coming for a short visit. She was the secretary at our parish and ran a quilting prayer group there. She moved to North Carolina several years ago and I haven't seen her since. Although she is up here to see a dying aunt and it's not a happy occasion, it will be wonderful to have a quick visit in a living room that is not completely strewn with fabric! She did join the QB so I'm hoping we'll see her on this swap soon!

And -- doing the happy dance -- I found the pieces I cut out for the August swap! Well ... most of them.

OK ... back to cleaning. I have a loooong way to go!
