I typed a reply to you, Krystyna, about what you could do with the 100% Virgin Wool Samples but I don't see it here so will say again, haha.

Wash in hot water, dry on hottest heat in dryer and felt it! Then you can make a boiled vest (big money for these in stores) make a penny rug or table runner, use the felted wool to cut applique shapes for wallhangings (it doesn't ravel after it's felted). Lucky you! Beautiful fabrics and I got tickled at their line on their tag. Forgot what it said now but was cute.

"Many of the designs are entirely novel but not eccentric" was what was on the wool sample tags. The fabrics were just gorgeous!

Great ideas, Bertie! I have so much of it that I was thinking of patchwork shawls and scarves to sell on Etsy when it gets cold out ... maybe I'll serge them. Or ... a patchwork throw? I'll have to look up boiled vests. Mysterious!

Buslady the crazy quilt looks beautiful. Crazy quilts remind me of my great grandmother. I used to go to visit her when I was young and that was my first introduction to quilting. I remember sewing on her old black, knee petal Singer making plenty crazy squares that had sheet foundations. Of course they were utility quilts we used, not all fancied up. In Maine, especially years ago in the older houses you had quilts for warmth, not so much for decoration.
My best childhood memories were sewing on that old black Singer, which is why I collect them now.

Felt it and then make penny rugs. They are real popular.

Popular with who? That is the question. Hoping to make something for sale. Or ... should I just sell the fabric as is on Etsy?

I wasn't sure about the penny rugs so I googled it. I see our LQS has a lot of kits for that sort of thing. My issue is always that people do not want to pay what a project is worth. They think our time has no value. While looking, though, I had a BRILIANT IDEA!! Instead of just reselling the fabric, make up some kits. I would love to help you design a couple of patterns. Just print on white paper and pack in large zipper bags. Those kits sell for an obscene price and people pay it. Wall hangings, coasters, place mats, table runners, leaves, snowment, turkeys, monkeys..... yes, I went there. HaHa..

My friend and I always buy the little wool patterns for candle mats and penny rugs. Kits would also be great. Krystyna how big are the sample pieces? How many different colors are there? I am always interested in wool for small projects.
