Bertie, I got your package. Wow! Thank You! I love what you did with the crazy quilted basket and butterfly. The purse is wonderful, love the fq. and the little book is so neat! I wish I had a good camera to do them a good picture.
I opened and read the little book to my DH before he left for a class he teaches.

My imagination is having a ball with this! I go by the looking glass and say to that old person in there where did you come from? That is not the Alice I know! I look lots different than that wild hair in there. U look like that lady Max whats her name, where did Alice in the glass go? The real one? yellow hair, blue eyes and dress to match? She must have escaped into the quilt place. I'll find her!

i've started, just don't know where I am going. changed my mind again. I too may sit out for a few months. I have a lot of small ufos that I need to do for people I have promised I would make them something. Want to get that stuff out of the way by Fall so I can start another big quilt.

AlaskaAlice, thanks for letting me know you got the package. I have to 'fess up. I did not make the patchwork purse for your sewing notions. Got it at a retreat a couple of years ago and never used it. Thought you might be able to. Will post a picture for you of your quilt "I'm a Little Off But I'm Not Completely Crazy". AlaskaAlice, not to worry. I will love whatever you make. I'm very easy to please. It's the love and thought behind the stitches that count, really. I had assumed May would be "baskets" and I had just seen a pattern for one somewhere on the web for a "crazy quilt style basket" so I started on one and then May was announced "Crazy Chaos". While I love all the crazy quilts, I had not started off right to do the whole thing in 'crazy' so stopped while I was ahead. I liked the way it turned out so glad you do, too!

I've made some pretty obnoxious pieces, but this one takes the cake. My partner said she kept putting stuff on until she ran out of room, therefore I vowed to do the same. I think I might out crazy her. We shall see. Here is a teaser
