thanks I was looking for the new upcoming colors for winter/spring you know like last spring tangerine was THE color word in fashion, I wondered if say quilting fabric had new upcoming colors that the industry says this year we are pushing.. you know how that is? just a goofy question.

Nelda there were lots of trouble getting the pics from your computer onto the site the other day maybe its the same thing and not your computer? i am in a swap and LOTS of posts about that. Are you an organ donor? I am a recipient and a thankful one at that..

My pin cushion is done, but I need to get it boxed up. I will try to get a picture of it soon. I love the owl, and little dress too. Can't wait to see more.

I am almost done with my pincushion. I am making two and only sending one. I just want to be sure it works. Will post photos after I fill the second one and assemble both. I have all the pieces done just need to put walnut shells in the second pincushion. It was fun to try a new pattern to see if I could do it.

Did Quiltermomma win ribbons? oh oh hope there is a photo album.
ok, I made four pincushions, today one walked out.. oh my sister is born on Oct 31st, I always give her pumpkins she would love that one.. and well.. sure came out of my mouth. bye pumpkin.. it was cute too. used sparkly orange fabric and well I liked it. guess that means get back in the sewing room, make another different one.. new idea already ..
the teapot is on pinterest by the way saw it on the first search for teapot pincushions.. its a good instructional posting. my gosh the pincushions that you can see on just one page. Its like saving the trouble of opening 100 pages all the photos right there upfront. I like this a bunch.

Yes, you got it, I won ribbons. Seven blue ones and four red ones. Will take them for sure and put them on my wall in quilting room and possibly print out photos to go with them for all to see. Still looking for the big ones, but I actually won some at the Spokane County Fair for the first time. I am excited for sure.

Finished my pincushions last night. I did two, not sure if I want to sign up for two though. One has cotton stuffing, yep that stuff they do upholstery with, and one with walnut shells. I have one more set of triangles that I can sew up and make one more for myself if I really get energetic or can put them in the scrap pile and say done with the UFO stuff. Yep, these are from a UFO project started a few years ago. Saw that pattern and cut up but not done.

QuilterMomma, those are so pretty. I had seen the pattern for them, and have it save, but didn't want to attempt it just yet. I will try one later I think.
