I would like to sign up to make one of those.
So you wish to make only one Dotee?
if they usually make 2 i can make 2. or are we making 1 of each?
You can make one of each if you want, or both of the same kind. It's all up to you.

Count me in. I am mailing my Nov., Dec. dolls today to moosegirl and knotsew. I will make either/or. Just let me know.
Thanks for taking this on again.
Happy Thanksgiving all.

What a great swap!
The dotee dolls are the ones that look like nesting dolls and traditional are ones that have arms and legs correct?
If this is true I would love to do some dotee dolls as I collect Matryoshka dolls. I just picked up a fabulous one while in New Orleans to add to my collection!
Hugs
April

Loving: I collect Matryoshka dolls too. My son got me a hand made one when he traveled to Russia while he was stationed in Germany. I really love those dolls. One of my students got me a very small one for Christmas one year. They are so cute!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone, Gwyn

Actually, Dotees don't usually have arms or legs. Please let me know if you want to do this swap. Depending on the number of swappers, you may not get Dotees in return, but I will try to pair up those who wish to receive certain ones. Just let me know. If you want to play, go ahead and start working on them since the send date is not very far away. :D

Gwyn
It is so nice to find a fellow collector. I actually got two while in New Orleans and they are both hand made from Russia. I only get the ones from Russia as the ones from India have (I forgot what they are called some type of bug I think) in the wood and it destroys the item as well as anything else you may have.
Miranda
I am in. I am eager to see what I get in return! I just hope whomever gets my two will like them.
Hugs

Loving: I also choose to collect the Russian dolls. My sister used to get them for me when the cruise ship she was working on stopped in Russia. She has also sent some from Holland, where she and her family live. Trupeach also collects Matryoshka dolls. I don't know where she has collected them from. Gwyn
