15 min at a time is probably the best so you don't get overwhelmed. I know after my company leaves in a couple of wks I'll have to tackle the mess I have made. I had to empty the drawers with the fabric in the guest BR and just put it in some big plastic buckets but am trying to figure how to rearange so I don't have to keep doing this. Good luck to you, your doing good. Sue

I did! 2 & 3 are posted. She did not get 4 finished but we hope to get to work together tonight. She even helped me fold some fabric last night. She could not get the ruler to cooperate with her so she just hand folded them and stacked them in a pile for me Gotta love that lil ray of sunshine in my sewing room.

Thank you all again for the encouragement. It sure does help!

That LilRayOfSunshine is going to help you with that mountain! Whether she actually "does" the work, or it just encourages you to sneak in some extra time when she's not there, to see the progress. And what special times for you and Izabella together ... memories for a lifetime and more!

Well I must admit I had to put a piece of fabric in the bad pile. Did no work on the sewing room last night sigh
E-yes the memories will be wonderful ones. She really loves the fabric as I do. Fabric addiction must run in the family LOL

It's in the genes!!

No matter what, be sure to keep her 1st quilt, forever and ever ... she'll love to see it in years to come!

Bad Pile? .. as in you hate it? or don't know where to stash it?

You're making progress April! Love your purple wall too! The 15 min. a day is a great idea, and soon enough you will have made big strides!

Oh I plan on keeping it (if she ever lets it go LOL)
I had posted this in one of my earlier posts:
I am hoping to do an update once a week with a picture or two That should make me very accountable! I am also thinking maybe I will start a "Bad" pile for when I am bad and do not work on it. Put a piece of fabric in that and when everything is all done, draw a winner from those who supported me along the way to send my "bad girl" fabric to.....now how much of my stash do I want to loose LOLOL

Sadly I am working. It always seems to get in the way of the fun stuff. However, I do plan to work in the sewing space this evening! Izzy and Daddy are going on a hike so I think I can make some progress..I hope...

The great idea of 15 minutes came from QuiltE! It is amazing what a difference that makes. Thanks Rhonda- I love the purple wall too though if I had my way it would be orange teeheee. The wall was silver and purple as it was originally hubby's man cave..now it is my sewing cave..fish and all lmao

Hugs

Good for you! I love your space but I can see how overwhelming it can be. Keep it up! 15 minutes a day works for Flylady. I love the timers. I use them all the time! It gets my bottom moving. I want to keep up with you and watch the transformation. Can't wait to see.
