Nice room! I learned long ago that yellow is a perfect color for the sewing room. It seems to offer "sunlight' around the clock, and good vision on the work at hand.

I think the outlet to control the light, iron and machines is a good idea. My DH says not, but I don't think he understands the why.

My sewing room is yellow also. Isn't that funny? It's such a bright cheery color. I'm so happy for you. Your room is going to be your new "home".
